Centre Gives 2025: Community Generosity Fuels Meals on Wheels

We are thrilled to share that Centre Gives 2025 was a record-breaking success for Centre County nonprofits!

The 14th annual 36-hour online giving event, hosted by the Centre Foundation, concluded with an astounding $2,837,295 raised through 17,841 gifts to more than 230 local nonprofit organizations. Since its inception in 2012, Centre Gives has raised more than $22.5 million to support vital work across arts, animals, education, environment, health, and social services.

Here at State College Area Meals on Wheels, we are especially grateful to our supporters. With 189 generous donors, we raised $39,910 to provide nutritious home-delivered meals, friendly visits, and a sense of connection to our neighbors in need.

Your kindness not only puts food on the table but also helps sustain independence, dignity, and hope for hundreds of clients across our community.
